Tanzania Embraces Empower Curriculum Students at Bible School Kondoa study New Man, New Woman, New Life

Exciting opportunities are opening up for Empower in Tanzania. The New Man, New Woman, New Life content has been turned into a college class that is part of the curriculum at a Bible school we partner with there.

Empower ministers Dan and Francine Thomas of North Carolina are currently in Tanzania, working with (Anglican) Bishop Given Gaula and his wife Rev. Lillian Gaula at the Bible School Kondoa, which is run by their diocese. This influential couple has welcomed Empower and been a wonderful support. The Thomases go to Tanzania every year to do various ministry programs with the Bishop and his wife.

Apparently, NMNW is a popular course, and the school has gone through all of the copies of the study guide that they had there.

We could not get a local printer to respond to a request for a quote of less than 500 copies of the study, and it was too late to have copies printed here, so Dan and Francine had to teach the course without the study guides.

In an attempt to get the copies to Francine, Carrie put NMNW in Swahili up on Amazon. So if anyone would like a copy of NMNW in Swahili, (or Mume Mpya, Mke Mpya, Maisha Mapya as it is called), just visit our amazon page to order one!

Please pray for Dan and Francine as they travel, and for the students at the Bible college as they explore what the Bible really has to say about men, women, and relationships.
