Teaching Gender Equality in Tanzania

A variety of leaders from many denominations are currently gathering in Tanzania to learn from Empower leaders Wayne Pelly and Frank Tweheyo. The two are currently leading a conference in Dar es Salaam, the former capital and largest city in Tanzania.

Tanzania conf 2017Frank reported that the first day, 36 participants gathered, including pastors, priests, mothers union leaders and youth leaders from various churches in Dar, including Anglican, Moravian, Mennonite, Assemblies of God, Lutheran, Revival churches and others.

As usual, Frank and Wayne combined large group teaching with small group discussion. In these groups of men and women, participants dig into the Scriptures for themselves and find themselves learning new things. participants tanzania conf 2017
