We are thrilled to announce that Frank Michael Tweheyo, our Africa Program Director, is visiting the U.S. this month. He’s here because he is graduating from Fuller Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in global leadership.

Pastor Frank is senior pastor of the Church Fellowship Church in Kabale, Uganda, and regional overseer for World Evangelical Ministries. He has worked with Empower since 2007, when he met Carrie when he came to Burundi to translate at the programs she was conducting there. Pastor Frank has traveled to Rwanda, Burundi, Malawi, Kenya, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, and the United States teaching Empower material on family harmony. He’s been working with Empower for many years. Congratulations to Frank on his graduation.
Frank is married to Phobice Tweheyo, who is also a pastor. After 23 years of marriage and at an advanced age, Phobice gave birth to twins (a son and a daughter) six months ago. They were featured in Ugandan newspapers and national television after this miraculous event, giving God the glory.
