TESTIMONIES FROM NEW MAN, NEW WOMAN, NEW LIFE SEMINARS IN MALAWI
During the training at Boma a man and woman who had been divorced from each other for the past twelve years unknowingly both attended for the training. On the last day of the training they approached saying that they feel God challenged them to reconcile. Now they are working on the church officiated wedding.
Most participants [couples] confessed to have been on separation though staying in the same house.
Some pastors also confessed that they do not plan nor work together with their wives mainly on finances. They used to think that a woman should not know what her husband is doing to keep her humble.
It was also shared that culturally women work like slaves; farming, rearing children, taking care of their husband and having sex even if they are sick.
