After a moving and successful seminar in Mozambique, African Program Director Pastor Frank Tweheyo and his wife Pastor Phobice Tweheyo traveled on to Nairobi, Kenya, where they are teaching the New Man, New Woman, New Life seminar to Anglican clergy at a local church.
The NMNW seminar teaches through Scripture, starting with a look at Genesis 1-3, and presents a biblical case for mutual love and respect, marriage without hierarchy, and equality for men and women.
In January, we taught NMNW at St. Paul’s University. (read our trip report here) Rev. Captain Jackmoris Wachira, one of the leaders who attended, was very excited about the material and asked us to facilitate a NMNW seminar at his church. This week, he hosted Frank and Phobice at his church so that they could present NMNW for clergy members.
Rev. Canon Gideon Kwizera, the chaplain at Bishop Barham University College, is helping to facilitate the seminar.
